Hi, I’m Monadi Nasir 👋

A Certified Personal Trainer based in Ottawa with over five years of experience working one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. Fitness has been a central part of my life for almost a decade, and I find immense joy and fulfillment in sharing my passion for strength and resistance training.

My approach to fitness is holistic—mind, heart, body, and soul. I believe that a positive mindset is the foundation for transformative change, and my goal is to make strength training not only effective but also fun, educational, and uplifting.

As a woman of color in the fitness space, I am deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity. Representation matters, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where people of all backgrounds and body types feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

With a charismatic personality and an energetic yet gentle teaching style, I focus on creating a safe space where clients can challenge themselves, grow, and thrive. Whether you're new to fitness or looking to elevate your routine, I’m here to help you unlock your potential and embrace the power of movement.

In my years of work in personal training, I’ve had some incredible opportunities to connect with the fitness community in Ottawa.

I’ve appeared on CTV Morning Live Ottawa for Fitness Segments seven times, conducted a live workout with Gymshark, and led several community training sessions with inspiring groups in Ottawa such as the Arboretum Hill Club, OttFreeFit, SweatSpott, City Of Om, Don’t Go Without We Walking Club, and Yoga in Park. in 2024 an opportunity to do a photoshoot with Anytime Fitness lead to becoming one of their first Brand Ambassadors. A few months later I became a spokesperson for ParticipACTION - an organization build to create accessibility in fitness. Most recently I have become an instructor at the Wheelhouse Training Club where you can find me teaching beat based strength classes! 

Along the crazy way, I’ve shared my journey and insights as a guest on multiple podcasts and trained dozens of amazing women who continue to inspire me every day. 

Of all the incredible opportunities I've had, the most meaningful has been meeting remarkable community members whose kindness and dedication to fostering genuine, beautiful connections continue to inspire me.
